FAQs
Why should I come to you?
Laurie’s background in kinesionics provide a communication link with your body. So not only is she releasing the tensions, she also is looking for the cause of the issue. Rather than just treating the discomfort, Laurie looks for the root to prevent the continuous cycle of just treating the outcome.
What should I expect?
The initial session will consist of getting to know each other and reviewing your health history. We will then work together to highlight your main concerns and create a safe space, allowing you to relax. Once you are in a state of homeostasis, your body is more open to healing and creating balance. Our goal is to decrease the sensitivity of your reflexology points, which can decrease or release pain stored within the body.
Does Reflexology hurt ?
Reflexology is the mapping of your body with corresponding points on the foot, ear, hands and face. If you are having issues with your shoulder you’re likely to experience tenderness on that reflexology point. While it may be sensitive, it provides guidance into your health and wellness. The overall treatment should be a comfortable, relaxing experience.
What if I’m ticklish?
Ticklish or foot sensitive! No problem! We can work together to reduce the ticklishness or we can work on to your hands, ears or face!
